Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Tender Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and preparing technical and commercial proposals for projects. This role involves reviewing tender documents, analyzing project requirements, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely and competitive bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze tender documents, including scope of work, specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate the submission of technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements and deadlines.
• Work closely with estimation, engineering, procurement, and planning teams to gather necessary inputs for bid preparation.
• Conduct site visits or attend pre-bid meetings as needed to collect relevant project data.
• Identify and assess risks, value engineering opportunities, and technical clarifications during the tender phase.
• Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and preliminary project schedules.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing.
• Maintain records of all submitted tenders and provide regular updates to management on bid status.
• Participate in handover meetings with execution teams upon award of contract.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience (+5 years) in tendering, estimation, or technical proposal development for industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, cost estimation, and project planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD, Primavera, and estimation software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
