Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the execution of mechanical works on-site for industrial construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards. This role requires close coordination with technical office teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure high-quality and efficient implementation of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the execution of mechanical works (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) on-site according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with the technical office for updates on shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work activities are completed within the project schedule.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality control standards on site.
• Inspect delivered materials and ensure compliance with approved submittals and specifications.
• Prepare site progress reports and submit to the construction/project manager.
• Lead and mentor junior site engineers and supervise subcontractor teams.
• Attend site meetings and inspections with consultants and clients.
• Identify potential delays and propose mitigation strategies to avoid project impact.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience (+5 years) in mechanical site supervision for industrial or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong technical knowledge in mechanical systems, installation practices, and commissioning procedures.
• Proficiency in reading shop drawings, coordination drawings, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, etc.).
• Excellent site coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and site management tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and team leadership abilities.
