Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the execution of electrical works on-site for industrial and large-scale construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, project timelines, and safety standards. This role involves close coordination with the technical office, subcontractors, and site teams to guarantee high-quality installation and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, low current, and grounding systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the execution of electrical works on-site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.

• Coordinate with the technical office for shop drawings, material submittals, and technical clarifications.

• Monitor site progress, ensuring activities are carried out within the approved schedule.

• Inspect delivered materials and verify compliance with approved submittals and specifications.

• Enforce adherence to safety regulations and quality assurance/control procedures at all stages of execution.

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports to the construction/project manager.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and oversee subcontractor teams.

• Attend site meetings and inspections with consultants, clients, and project stakeholders.

• Identify potential risks, delays, and technical issues, and propose effective solutions to mitigate project impact.

• Support testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems before project handover.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical site supervision for industrial or large-scale construction projects.

• Strong technical knowledge in electrical systems: power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low-current systems.

• Proficiency in interpreting and coordinating electrical shop drawings, and technical documentation.

• Familiarity with international electrical standards and codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE, etc.).

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and site management software.

• Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and reporting skills.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities with proven experience.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site tasks effectively
